On Location Photography: Finding Interesting Places to Hold Your Photo Session

When I first started shooting photos is strictly in place, a few years back, finding locations for photo sessions, it appears as an obstacle for me. Where can I shoot it really interesting and eye-catching? He asked sam.Nekoliko years later and a lot more knowledge, I can definitely say wallpaper is not as important as what you think in May It is all about drawing the eye object / objects with minimal disruption (usually). Now I do not mean that some of the fun out of it, to find a suitable place and add a personal touch is really a big deal. Aside from the obvious (parks, clients home, etc.) here are some really great places to shoot that I had no luck with

• Downtown: living near a city or trendy place people like to hang out in? Just take a walk downtown somewhere and find a lot of cool places you can take in a 30 minutes-1 hour long session! (Garages, brick buildings, funky door / window frames, benches, shooting a subject walking down the sidewalk ... the list goes on!

• If you want to add some grit or contrast? Visit your local junkyard and ask for permission to use locations for recording (make sure to sign release!) It can add contrast, if a woman is dressed in a formal cocktail dress or a swimsuit and really adds some grit to your images regardless of the subject can to wear.

• Forget parks, they are so overcrowded, well, expected! Surprise your clients and take them on a short hike through the nature trails. Nature trails are also great because you'll usually stumble with many interesting parts of nature to play in his photographs. You can see the trough, perhaps the lake, a beautiful part of the forest (if you're shooting a couple, have them carve their names into a tree and take a personalized portrait). Maybe you'll find a fallen tree and use it as a seat, steer away from the norm is usually found in parks and amaze your clients.

• Again this is all about your client: fewer distractions the better. One of my favorite places to go to this area near the tall grass (in the fall of all the gold and adds a nice warm to the touch) and a wide open space with lots of eye distract the eyes. Now you can cut it up and play with this a little or a lot. By placing a sofa, chair or tree trunks in the photo, you will find it easy to add rustic elegance and provides your client with support for sitting / rely on, trust me you will absolutely love it!
